MY BLOGGING BEGINS
Ever since my high school days in the 1960's I always reacted to the things that "everybody" is doing. If everybody was talking about reading a certain book, I would not be interested in that book. If they raved about some activity, I would chose to do something different. It's not that I wanted to be perverse and opposite to the norm, but that I wanted to be my own person and the individual that God made me. When my children started blogging several months ago, I thought I never would, but now I am.
Why start a blog? My reasons are simple. I enjoy reading others and what they share of the personal side of their lives and I think it should be a two way street. If I want to read about other's lives, I should be willing to open up my own. I also want to share with others the wonder of God and His personal relationship with me. I'm not skilled at writing, like my children, but God has done (And is doing!) so much for me I want others to know and be encouraged in their own lives as well. I especially enjoy reading blogs on the Sabbath when I am relaxing and enjoying communion with God, so I expect to post only on a weekly basis, but you never know.

Welcome to blogging, Dad!
you sound just like bethany and clyde! :) Welcome. Hope it isn't too painful for you...
Wow, you too! Pretty neat, Dad. Blogging isn't so bad. Of course, I can be proud that I joined the bandwagon fairly early on.
kms is glad that she's more of a lemming than those who held out?
:-)
